The Wimbledon Collection

The comfort, size, lighting, kitchen facilities, all were wonderful. ..and cleanliness too was admirable (Some of the linen could have been cleaner, some were okay).

So, we liked everything about the accommodation except the fact that we were not told, at the time of booking, that there would be no lift till our floor. We had luggage for 15 days of stay and had a tough time climbing up & down the stairs, that too we had a double booking at this property (7 & 4 nights) *A mishap : the toilet pot drainage should have been pre-checked for the arriving guests. It is harrowing when you check in late and have a non functional toilet pot, which is choked, and doesn't drain, it was a terrible night and the next morning till the host/assistant came at 12.00 noon, to give an optional key for toilet usage and it was repaired only by 4.00 /5.00 pm in the next evening.

The size, the lighting, the kitchen facilities, the comfort , indeed everything was wonderful. Cleanliness too admirable (Some linen could have been cleaner)

At the time of the booking itself we should have been informed that there was no lift directly to our floor. Lugging our bags up & down the staircase was exhausting l *A mishap . The staff should have checked the toilet pot drainage before the arrival of the guests. We had a late check in - had a harrowing night to find that our toilet pot was not draining and it was choked up so we could not use the toilet for that night and the next morning till the helper assistant came at 12.00 noon with an optional toilet for temporary usage till ours got repaired at 4.00 /5.00 pm the next evening.

Location was good, close to Wimbledon town. Rooms were ok in size but with very littly space to unpack own suitcases. Kitchen and lounge were good and enough space. Flat was clean, safe and easily accessable. Access to busses were close.

Flat is basically next to busy train tracks - it was very noisy, very often. Cupboards for unpacking own clothing was very limited in rooms.

I had a really great stay and would definitely recommend this place. Everything was exactly as described, clean, comfortable, and well looked after. The host’s communication was excellent throughout — very fast, clear, and reliable, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.

The only downside for me was the parking situation, as it was quite far from the property and not onsite. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but walking back to the property after being out all night was a nightmare
