Lousha Bach Dolphin Heads

Beautiful seaside location with ocean directly out the front door. These idyllic views are the star of this accommodation. The very large resort pool is also a plus. And the Dolphin Heads region has many interesting beaches etc to explore. It's a stony beach out front but you can make your way to a sandy path for exploring.

It's a tiny unit ok for short stays but we found six nights proved a little long. Pack very small suitcases go for a few days. There's a bit of noise from neighbours and the bathroom could use an exhaust fan but it was very affordable.

The location was just beautiful and provides the 'out your front door' access to a gorgeous tropical Queensland beach, with the amenities of a holiday resort. Privately owned, this unit was exactly as described. Yes, it is small but it makes good use of the space to provide everything you need. We were very comfortable here and would stay again when next in town. The attached photos are of the afternoon and sunset views straight out the front door of the unit. You'll love it.

The one issue we had at the property turned out to be a demonstration of how dedicated the owner is to making sure that her guests are comfortable when they stay. Xanthe was contacted when we found some of the bedding was not up to standard and she was immediately onto the problem. As a new owner, she was still settling into rental property ownership, but she certainly has the right focus. We have no doubt she's got it running perfectly now.

The room was exceptionally clean and the host had tried to provide most things we might have needed for our stay, except a stove. The LOCATION and view was absolutely amazing.

Unfortunately the room was no bigger than most motel units and lacked a proper kitchen. An electric hotplate was provided for cooking. The barbecue area was away from the unit and had no real seating options. The restaurant at the resort was not open, nor was the reception, so options for meals were non-existent. Even with the magnificent view it was disappointing that there was no beach access unless we were willing to climb over rocks. Both ends of the beach view area had No Entry signs displayed. We thought the rate charged was excessive given the bed, eating area and lounge were all the same room. With only the front doors as windows the air circulation in the room was bad, unless we wanted to leave the front door open. The car park was not secure, with the exit gate non-existent and it was quite a distance to our room. No luggage trolley was provided for taking all our luggage to the unit either
