Villa Omah Rindu

A metà strada tra i templi di prambanan, borubudur e il centro in una stradina silenziosa. Il proprietario gentile. La piscina pulita con acqua fresca. Le camere vecchiotte ma pulite. Un cucina esterna se qualcuno ne avesse bisogno non proprio pulitissima ma con frigo funzionante. Tre camere da letto separate ognuna con la sua chiave e due con il bagno. Un terzo bagno fuori vicino alla piscina.

Pool was nice and clean. Pump and filter worked regularly. Fridge and freezer worked brilliantly. Air con was good. On a nice street with only a bit of scooter noise. Had a huge covered pergola with dining table and heaps of seating. Good central location. Good value for money. With a bit of an effort it could be much better but it's managed by a group so who knows. The linen was clean though and the bed was comfortable.

Not much like the photos which were few in number. I read the reviews. 4 was a bit harsh but this place isn't close to a 10. These people must have stayed in budget motel rooms previously. It is an older place and needs TLC. Not what you think when you see 3 bedroom villa. It is basically 3 basic unconnected hotel rooms side by side. Except for a small lounge and TV in second bedroom (bit weird) all living is done outdoors. Kitchenette is quite old and grubby. Garden area dead in a lot of spots with equipment and broken furniture barely hidden. The pool was good but unheated. Nice in middle of day but probably to chilly for most first thing in morning and of an evening. Another weird thing...no pool towels. Have to use bath towels...and not a sun lounge in sight.

Great atmosphere, nice traditional style, and super friendly service.

The villa is very clean and spacious. The most important is the swimming pool. The swimming pool is huge, and we had fun in the villa. This will be the only place we are going to stay in future when we are in Jogja. Thank you for the great service of Omah Rindu.
