Cozy Apartment In Montecastelli Pisano

Montecastelli Pisano is a tiny hilltop village with some houses, a church and a restaurant (also owned by the hosts). We spent 3 nights here and for a while thought we may be the only tourists in the sleepy town. It was brilliant. The hosts (they don't speak English, but we made do with Google Translate and my friends' French skills) are kind and we enjoyed an evening at their restaurant in town. The apartment has everything you need, plus they provided pool towels. It was quite hot (high 20s) when we were there but the apartment stayed cool.

The mattresses are a bit springy; not terrible, but also not great. Our last night, the peaceful quiet was disturbed by a group of people staying in the next door apartment - I think we had been lucky nobody else had been there the first couple of nights - and we heard every footstep, chairs being moved, etc. They also had multiple dogs that kept barking until late into the evening without anyone attempting to keep them quiet.
