Green Haven Villa

The host family were very friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their son helped us hire a scooter and picked/ dropped at the bus stop. The location of this homestay is superb and we loved being amongst the nature and short walk from the beach. This was our favourite stay in Sri Lanka, our lovely hosts even cooked us the most delicious local dishes made from Jackfruit. I will be returning for sure, staying here is a must! Thank you for such a great time.

Green haven villa is great value for money given the location and quality of the living space. The room itself was very clean, with air con, fan and a private bathroom. The young lad Purna was very attentive, giving tuk tuk rides to nearby locations and even driving me to Ahangama once my stay ended. A lovely Sri Lankan breakfast is included in the stay - featuring noodles, traditional curry and coconut sambal. The villa is very well located with Goyambokka beach being a 10 minute walk away and Silent Beach (best beach in the area) being a 5 minute tuk tuk ride. Overall I had a very pleasant stay and was well treated very well by the host family. Given that the property is a new listing there are not many reviews yet but I would highly recommend staying here!

The only gripe I had was the number of flies that congregate when sitting outside for breakfast - don’t forget your bug spray! This is less so a criticism of the property as this is common in the area.

L'emplacement au coeur d'un coin calme avec un beau jardin. Soigné et fleuri. La chambre est neuve, grand standing ! Lit top, tout est super propre, rien à redire. Personnel très aimable, super adresse, n'hésitez pas. Tout est neuf, il y a la clim aussi si on veut. Superbe X un as C qd arC qd

Le chemin est peu indiqué mais le jeune homme vient vous chercher à 200 m en bas, aucun souci ,,😁👍
