Scandi-Style Cabin in Bideford Private Parking

Very well equipped cabin with outside space and parking. Easy walk into town for bars and restaurants.

The WiFi was poor.

The cabin is a great size for one person or a couple, in a very quiet location and plenty of space around it. Inside, it’s really nice. The double bedroom has plenty of space and the bathroom is a good size and fully tiled with large shower enclosure. As it’s self catering you will need to take food, and a fridge with a good sized ice box, a microwave, kettle and even an omelette maker are provided, (which I particularly liked) teabags and a cafetière with fresh coffee. There was a heater provided, which was needed when I went in March. The bed was comfortable and a small dining table and sofa in the living room made it a good base to get out and see the area. The owner provided a selection of guide books to give some ideas of what’s around.

Although it didn’t apply to me, as I didn’t bring a car, when my daughter dropped me off, getting to the parking area wasn’t very easy. The route isn’t from the same road as the main entrance and involves some very narrow lanes.
