Value for money and excellent communication from owner.

Host was very welcoming, comunicative and adaptive. The location is 20/10 - right in the centre and above the main train station, very good accsess to all Birmingham has to offer. Equipment is a bit wan out on the edges, but that is to be expected due to general age of the building itself. Still very good for general standard in England. I had a good sleep, so that already a lot. Price/Performance wise - very recommended.

Excellent location. The host was accommodating to my late check-in and their communication was excellent throughout. The property was in good condition and suited me well as I needed to be near the train station for quick access to the NEC.

It was a bit weird having to provide a £250 damage deposit up front, when most properties on booking.com simply charge the card if there are any issues. Nevertheless, it was all above board and I received a full refund. I did have to walk about 10 minutes away from Birmingham New Street to pick up the key and then return to the property at New Street, but this wasn’t such a big deal.

Good central location great view.

Upon arrival I had to collect keys some 15-20 minutes away. It was inconvenient to walk around city centre with luggage in the middle of the night to do this. The shower was not hot you could even say cold. The flat could use tidying up such as washing of curtains, scrubbing of shower etc. For 50 pounds per night this can be acceptable in its current condition but if you paid 80 pounds you would not be happy. Needs work but for students, low budget traveller it can be a great options.
