Shanghai Riverview Hotel Bund Store

Good location to the Bund,. The staff was very helpfull. The room was a little dated but reasonably comfortable. The shower was excellent. For my wife's point of view the clothes washer and drier a must.

No coffee or tea in room even though there was a jug. If you are looking for a good mix of food for breakfast you'll be disappointed.

Location of the hotel is excellent

Staff do not understand English

Camera molto molto ampia e accogliente

Troppo lontano dalla metro, ma con Didi nessun problema

The hotel is not too bad, but it is very old . We booked a room that was advertised as having a river view, but unfortunately, there was no river view at all. The room had an unpleasant smell, the Wi-Fi connection was poor, and the staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming. Breakfast was another disappointment. Instead of a buffet, there was a very limited menu with only four dishes to choose from. We ended up ordering noodles every morning simply because there was hardly anything else we wanted to eat. Don’t expect to be offered tea or coffee — we had to use a translation app just to ask for it. The level of customer service was practically nonexistent. Perhaps 20–30 years ago this was a beautiful hotel, but today it feels tired and neglected. The location is also inconvenient, as the metro station is quite far away. Overall, if you value comfort, good service, and modern facilities, I would not recommend staying here.
