The synthetic bed sheets and the flat pillows

Location and building were ideal and charming. The bathroom was very clean and kitchen well stocked.
Synthetic bedsheets were a nightmare and very uncomfortable. Cotton sheets are a normal expectation, and not expensive. Don't cheap out - with the single AC Unit and summer (which was noisy), waking several times each night to throw off the sheets ruined what would have been a perfect experience.

The apartment below smokes and the apartment smelled like stale cigarettes. You can really hear the footsteps from the above apartment
