Private 1-Bedroom Apartment at TRYP Southport Near Broadwater

A beautiful apartment which was a joy to stay in

The only problem we had was the fold out sofa was locked so my granddaughter couldn't use it. The key needs to be on the door key's not with the cleaner

The hot shower, comfortable bed, and the view were great. Having a pizza place near the reception was also very convenient and added to the overall experience.

The tea and coffee sachets appeared to be quite old and did not taste very fresh. After our stay, we received a message advising that the hair dryer was not working and asking whether we could contribute towards its replacement. However, we did not use the hair dryer at any time during our stay

Very clean spacious apartment. The host communication was great, super fast to respond to enquires & allowed us an extra hour on check out which was very helpful. The property itself was lovely & although we didn’t use the facilities there (as we were only there overnight for the GC marathon) they looked great. Parking outside the unit was available as we were there on the weekend, otherwise it’s a 2 hour limit during the week.

A few more basic things in the apartment would be useful. The sofa bed needs more linen….namely a top sheet & doona cover. Only a blanket for cover is provided which was somewhat itchy! More basic kitchen items would lift the property too, eg scissors, sharp knife etc.

The apartment was clean and spacious.

Whilst the apartment has a kitchen (with gas stove and oven), we could barely use it because only a singular small frying pan is provided - not even a pot to boil water in. There is a washing machine, but no laundry liquid. Unfortunately, we were assuming we would be able to use these facilities, so it was quite disappointing that we couldn’t. It is misleading to say these facilities are included when they can’t be used. It is a bit unreasonable to expect guests to bring their own pots and pans, and own laundry liquid, simply to use the provided appliances. The apartment seemed good value but since we couldn’t use the facilities properly I would have preferred to find somewhere in a better location without a misleading description.
