Recently, we stayed at Altitude a lovely place near Ambuluwawa Tower with a cozy hostel-style concept — private rooms with common bathrooms. The entire place was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. One of the best parts was the breathtaking sunset view from the property. In the evening, they even arranged a campfire, which made the atmosphere feel extra relaxing and memorable. 🌅🔥 The location is super convenient as well — it only takes around 2 minutes to reach Ambuluwawa Tower from there. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the peaceful environment made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a calm getaway with beautiful views and a unique stay experience!

The food quality can still be improved a bit, but it’s understandable since they are currently getting everything ready to open their restaurant soon. Wishing them all the very best with it!

I had a wonderful stay at Altitude Ambuluwawa in Gampola. The location is truly special , just a short walk from the Ambuluwawa Tower with breathtaking mountain views right from the property. The hostel itself is cozy with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, perfect for both solo travelers and groups. The rooms offer essential comforts, free Wi-Fi, and even a terrace or balcony in some options, making it easy to soak up the scenery. Breakfast was a nice added bonus, and there’s free private parking on site, which was very convenient. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, great value for money and highly recommended if you’re looking to enjoy nature and tranquility in the highlands of Sri Lanka.
