Absolutely lovely place. The design is beautiful and very stylish, and staying here feels a little like stepping into a slice of Sri Lankan history.
The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, and the owner Gaya was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay.
A special mention has to go to the dog, who was absolutely lovely! We miss our own pets whenever we travel, so having such a sweet dog around made the stay feel even more special and a little more like home.
A beautiful, characterful place with wonderful people. We really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is beautiful. They have clearly taken a lot of time to make a very special relaxing place. The room was stunning, we felt like we were staying in a very expensive and exclusive hotel, lots of little extras in the room to make you feel comfortable. The staff were so welcoming and made us feel right at home - they could not do enough for us! We were greeted by their beautiful kitty and dog Hazel. The breakfast was delicious, very fresh and plenty of choice. The communal areas are really relaxing, books and games and even a pool table, perfect for an evening of unwinding after a busy day in the city.

Had a peaceful and wonderful stay. You can truly see the effort that has gone into making this place beautiful and one of a kind. It felt so warm and homely, and the host was incredibly lovely and welcoming. Highly recommended!
