Imperial Hotel Near Haji Ali

everything bas only rooms were small but ok

For me a solo backpacker this hotel ticked all the boxes , hot water , comfy clean room , comfy bed and pillows , and helpful friendly staff . The inside of the hotel is nothing like the outside , unfortunately they are digging up the roads around the hotel , so may not look appealing . It is close to the amazing metro so easy to get about .

Handtücher und Toilettenpapier gab es erst auf Nachfrage. Die Handtücher waren von minderer Qualität. Das Fenster in unserem Zimmer lies sich nicht schließen, sodass der Straßenlärm deutlich hörbar war, mit Gehörschutz haben wir aber gut geschlafen. An einem Morgen gab es einen unerwünschten Anruf von der Rezeption, was wir frühstücken wollen. Wir hätten uns gefreut, sie hätten uns anrufen lassen und uns nicht geweckt.

Location was nice as we were in close vicinity to the grant road metro station. And the other places like the Gateway of India, Mohammed Ali road, Bhendi bazaar, Haji Ali Dargah, Girgaon Chowpatty and Marine drive were all within 2-4 kms away. Staff was kind and attentive.

Small baby cockroaches in room and fleas in the bathroom were the huge negative here. Parking of my vehicle was another issue due to road works adjoining the hotel which should sought itself once the works are completed.
