    Staff are exceptional. When we entered the room, it smells old. They should spray something to make it smells clean. We used the outdoor band area for our birthday celebration and it was not organized,

    Just an honest review. 90s feels Resort with complete facilities. Two swimming pools, Kayak, huge parking space and enough water pressure on Shower. Maybe the interiors are outdated, but the most important is it feels like home. Serene and comfy. The staff are very accomodating. The food is cheap and yummy. With free plated breakfast and coffee. We forgot our tumblers in the reception. And they did amazing. They ship out our tumblers via J&T. So basically, this things makes our stay in Punta Riviera more sulit! Definitely will come back. Few minutes away,from falls,cave pooland Patar Public White sand beach. Thank you Punta Riviera!

    We booked a Deluxe Family Room, but unfortunately the room and overall experience did not justify the price we paid. The room was not properly cleaned and had plenty of mosquitoes. The toilet smelled like sewage, the door was difficult to lock, the air-conditioning struggled to cool the room, and only 1 of the 2 electrical outlets was working. The shower also had very low water pressure. There was no telephone/intercom in the room, so we had to physically go to reception twice to follow up with maintenance. We waited a long time before someone came to assist us. What was particularly disappointing was that the suggested solution was to move us to a Standard Quadruple Room, which was much smaller and clearly a downgrade from the Deluxe Family Room we had paid significantly more for. We declined. Instead, we were given an extension cord and an electric fan for our existing room. The resort itself also feels run-down and poorly maintained. The complimentary amenities such as kayaks, billiards and table tennis require going to reception to arrange, with limited availability and restrictions. The beach had a lot of algae and seaweed during our stay, although the views were nice. Of the two pools, the infinity pool was noticeably cleaner. The service was another major disappointment. The reception staff were not particularly responsive when we raised our concerns, and we had to repeatedly follow up just to get basic maintenance issues addressed. Breakfast was also underwhelming. It was served cold, with a very basic plated meal. Unlimited brewed coffee was available, which was a plus. Overall, the resort has a nice location and views, but the room condition, maintenance, service and overall value were disappointing. Paying more for a Deluxe Family Room only to encounter these issues and then be offered a downgrade was particularly frustrating. Definitely not worth the price we paid. We would not stay here again.
