Our host was clearly very keen to make sure we had a pleasant stay, and provided some staples like tea, coffee, milk, bread and pastries for our stay. The house was nicely decorated, and overall very clean, and properly stocked with things like toilet paper. It's an easy 10 minute walk to a large supermarket, very easy to get to by car or public transport, and has a pub just round the corner that does a great carvery on a Sunday. The photos accurately represent the property.
Some perishables from a previous guest (hidden in a cupboard) were missed by the cleaners, and there weren't any dishwasher tablets (which seems to have been an oversight, since all the other cleaning supplies you'd expect were present, and I suspect the host would have sorted it out if we'd asked her to). The walls are thin, so sound travels - fine if everyone gets up at around the same time, but late-sleepers might be woken by early-risers!

Lovely size - a bit of a tardis. Great location for what we needed. Lovely and clean with great amenities. Great communication with the owner
Curtains would be nice just to allow the bedrooms to remain darker for longer but this was a really minor inconvenience
