We were looking for a clean and roomy flat at an affordable price and we were not disappointed. The location is a little bit outside of the centre but still within walking distance from Matsumoto station and Matsumoto castle. We also liked the traditional Japanese room with tatami mats. The host was also responsive whenever we asked questions.
The futon mattresses in the traditional Japanese room might feel a bit thin for those who are not used to sleeping on the floor. For some reason, we couldn't get the sound on the TV to work. Adding a sofa to the living space would improve the comfort of the stay.
