Kalma Elephant Tower Guardians House - Historic Stay at Old Town

For a short overnight stay as a solo female traveler, this place is perfect. Centrally located and the room and bathroom are super cosy and thoughtfully designed. There are so many special touches 😍from the natural stone wall to the Sardinian roof tile in the main shower, along with a beautiful blend of wood and traditional Sardinian antiques mixed seamlessly with modern elements. I also loved the small but practical amenities: a coffee machine, a single induction hob, and a cute little sink, which make it easy to prepare something quick and simple to eat. The bed was comfortable and I slept like a log 🥰.

Just a couple of very minor things: the espresso cups were missing for the coffee machine (though I used a glass and it worked perfectly fine), and the electrics tripped once or twice. It was easy to sort though, as the fuse box is simple to find and everything was back up and running in a couple of minutes. Overall, nothing that took away from a really lovely stay 💓 I’d happily come back again.

Es ist sehr laut und hellhörig. Es wurde keine genaue Adresse genannt, weshalb ich an den ganzen Schlüsselboxen meinen Code ausprobieren musste. Das Badezimmer ist an den Wänden oben offen, weshalb Geruch und Geräusche im ganzen Appartement bemerkbar sind. Das Waschbecken war undicht, wurde sofort beanstandet und es kam jemand der ein Handtuch untergelegt hat ohne das Problem zu beseitigen. Wlan hat nicht funktioniert. Dusche war nur am Anfang ausreichend warm und hat relativ schnell in ein kühles lauwarm gewechselt. Für 2 Personen ist das Duschen unmöglich. Die „voll ausgestattete Küche“ ist auch eher mäßig ausgestattet und wirklich nur zum Erwärmen eines Fertiggerichte oder einen Kaffee geeignet. Kühlschrank ist sehr sehr laut, sodass ich ihn Nachts immer abstellen musste. Heizung gab es keine, weshalb es kühl war. Besonders beim Duschen
