The location is excellent, so convenient; two tube stations are just a minute's walk, and a couple of more minutes to Hyde Park. Oxford Street, Notting Hill and museums are all within waking distance. There are load of resturants, caffees, supermarkets and shops in the area.

The stairs to the flat are not in good condition. But on the day we were leaving, maintenance work was underway to replace the carpet on the stairs and install lights in the corridors; these will certainly help. Inside the flat, the facilities are basic, but we had everything we needed; there was a problem with ants, which were in the kitchen and bathroom - you really need to be careful not to leave food on the table! We used some spray; it got better later on. Another problem was during the last few days of our stay; people were staying in the flat above us, and there was lots of noise from the floor when they walked around. But most of the time we were not in the flat, so it was ok with us. Overall, we are happy with our stay, especially the location of the flat could not be any better!
