Riad Louzaia, Marrakech

The Riad was nice and clean. Although it is located in the old Medina, the area was surprisingly calm and peaceful.

There was no access to the kitchen or kitchenware, as the kitchen had been locked by the house service person and the door was marked “Privé.” The only facilities available were a kettle, microwave, and small fridge on the third floor, which was inconvenient. On the day of check-out, the house service lady woke us up at around 9:30 AM and entered the house, even though the check-out time is clearly stated as 12:00 PM. We felt uncomfortable and did not have the privacy we expected. As a result, we had to collect our belongings and leave earlier than planned.

I was not possible to arrive and to drop our luggage before check in (3.00pm) because i did not used the transport offer from the owner. It was 3 times more expensive than regular offical airport taxi

Maria, la gouvernante du riad, a rendu notre séjour agréable. Le fait que chaque chambre ait sa propre salle de bain a également été très appréciable.

Pour une femme seule avec ses enfants, la localisation du riad n'est pas rassurante. Pour y accéder, il faut emprunter plusieurs ruelles étroites, dont certaines sont occupées par des commerçants, parfois installés à même le sol. Il y a également beaucoup de chats dans les ruelles. Le miroir visible sur la photo principale du riad donne l’impression que la pièce de vie est beaucoup plus grande qu’elle ne l’est en réalité.
