Sunny Apartment with Seine View

The room is in a very central location in Paris, close to the metro. It is quite spacious and can comfortably accommodate four people. The space is divided in the middle by curtains and offers an excellent view. Communication with the owner was excellent, as they provided any necessary information very quickly. It is also a very affordable option for travelers who want to stay in a central location.

Visitors should be aware that the space includes the personal belongings of the apartment’s owner. The toilet is located outside the room (while the shower and sink are inside the room). Also, the main room does not have sufficient lighting at night, as the socket for one of the lamps does not work. The cleanliness of the space could also be improved. It is not recommended for elderly people or children.

Great location and lovely view of river Seine. The apartment is in a quiet and safe area. Only 10 minutes walk to Gare de Lyon and 20 minutes to Notre-Dame. Marche Beauvau and Bastille with nice restaurants as well. I was expecting finding to stay in central Paris would be small and overly expensive, but this place was reasonably priced for the location. It had comfy beds and had space to place our bags and stuff.

The toilet was across the hallway from the front door, which we did not realise from the information advertised. No bother for us, but feel it should be made clearer as it might not be suitable for young families or older people. Also, we lost hot water on the second day with the power cutting out. Admittedly, we were just using the flat for a stopover to our next destination so did not try to resolve it with the host. And to add we stayed 28-30 March 2026 so it may have got resolved before the last review. Both of the above would be a concern if we had stayed longer, but would recommend this apartment for short stays and would be happy to come and stay again.
