    The location and view right on the river is wonderful. It’s a short uphill walk to the 9 bus stop at the Lawsons which was convenient . The onsen was really wonderful with good products, great water temps and traditional vibe. The staff were all incredibly attentive and kind. My room was lovely, very clean, a little rundown but not terrible. I asked them to set up my sleeping futon by the window so I could wake up looking at the hills and river, and that was magical. My rate didn’t have breakfast or dinner included, and without that I thought it was a little expensive versus similar properties where I’ve stayed. I did spy a little udon yuba place right on the river from my hotel room and highly recommend eating there. It was a great location, easy walk to the bridge and other restaurants. The piano playing in the bar at night had a David Lynch kind of feel, so please enjoy that as well. ;)
