About this house rental
Our house is the ideal place to take in the real atmosphere of the middle-age medina of Fes.
Dar7louyat is located close to the famous University of al-Karaouine (or Karaouine mosque), recognised by th UNESCO as the world's oldest university. As Titus Burckhardt put it in his books, you can still feel the peculiar atmosphere of spirituality and scholarship of that place. Just outside the house, you can drown yourself among all types of crafts. You will even meet some craftmen who are the last ones to know their specific skills. Such are the horn combs maker or the cedarwood buckets maker. Going for a quiet and watchful walk will take you centuries back at the time of real handmade crafts

The architectural features of Dar7louyat make it a special haven of peace and rest after the busy medina.
Four groups of high colomns soar up from each corner of the patio towards the sky through the opening of the terrasse. The bedrooms and suites open onto this deep and bright patio, showing off multiple glimpses of light.
3 suites are equiped with air-con and reverse heating. Heating of the whole house and of each room is also provided.
Our cook cooks wonderful traditional morrocoan cooking.
The renting of separate rooms is also possible (see our website).

- 40 € per night and per person
- specila rates for groups beyond 12

En plein coeur de la médina dans un endroit improbable au bout d une ruelle, un lieu magnifique tres bien restauré avec un accueil tres attentionné et une cuisine mémorable. Peu de restaurants proches, rester diner sur place dans la cour est une excellente option! A recommander.
