I booked very last-minute, and although I received a booking confirmation, it turned out upon arrival that only one of the two nights was actually available. This was quite inconvenient.
After some back and forth, I was offered what was described as a “better stay,” supposedly more luxurious. However, this turned out to be a bit of a letdown likely due to a language barrier or misunderstanding. I ended up paying €10 extra per night, but the only noticeable difference was an older room with a double bed instead of a single. In hindsight, I don’t believe I should’ve been charged extra, since the original issue stemmed from their booking system.
That said, the bed was clean and reasonably comfortable. The room had only a fan, and it got quite warm during the night. The view was lovely, and while the shared bathroom had everything needed, it did feel somewhat outdated.
Overall, it was fine for a short solo stay, but the experience could have been smoother.
