About this house rental
Nestled in Dadeville, this wonderful house offers guests a peaceful retreat with plenty of space to unwind. This beautiful lakefront home boast 5 spacious bedrooms, and 3.5 baths has a great dock with an upper sundeck. There is an air conditioned studio attached to the dock to allow you to cool off/watch TV on the hot summer days while still enjoying the water. The home is located in a quiet, deep water slough with great views of the lake. It's a perfect spot to relax and soak in the water without fear of heavy boat traffic.
There are about 80 steps from the house down to the lake. Please be cautious going up and down them, as they get slippery when wet. The swim and sun deck are both composite, so it can get very hot during the summer, sandals or water shoes are recommended.
There is a boat slip that is available for the guests to use. Union boat ramp is the closest public launch.
Trash cans are located at the top of the driveway and all of them must be returned to the top of the driveway at checkout.
There are exterior security cameras at all entrances of the home and on the boat slip. These are for security and safety.

We stayed at this property this past weekend. As the first review, I will try to keep it detailed, simple & fair. Cons- •dirty freezer/fridge •carpet in master bedroom was soiled with dog pee (even comes up yellow when you blot a paper towel) •lots of dog hair in master bed sheets •fire alarms did not work. (We check these as we know people who have lost loved ones to a VRBO house fire due to inactive fire alarms) •rotten wood on some areas of the deck & dock •boathouse and second story dock seemed structurally compromised as they were uneven and swayed- doors do not open or close well.•drain in master bath tub does not work (had to put my kids in someone else’s bathroom) •hot water is finicky- I think showers just need updated knobs Pros-•large house with decent amount of bedrooms and bathrooms- sleeping and bathing was not an issue •beds were very comfortable •property is In a quiet slough •host responded to messages & had new fire alarms sent asap •dish& laundry pods were provided •option for traditional coffee maker or keurig •pool & shuffle board tablesThe host offered the option to leave & receive a refund when I noted my concerns upon check in. Unfortunely, we had nowhere else to go & felt a partial refund/discount would have been appropriate. We were disappointed in some of the conditions of the property given the price we payed. However, given some TLC I think it will be a successful VRBO. Beautiful lake, house has great potential, good memories
