Excellent location, very clean, comfortable apartment. Had everything you needed for a great stay like a home away from home .Richard was great in sending a detailed video on What's App on how to access the apartment. He even left written instructions on Wifi and TV use and heating guide to heat the apartment. Great value for money compared to other properties in Dublin City. I would highly recommend this place to stay in Dublin.Will book again for sure. Bonus it right across from Kilmainham Gaol for a site visit we'll worth it. Thanks 👍
Everything was perfect. Nothing I didn't like

The apartment is spacious, and the light from the windows in the living room is great. There is an outside patio which would be wonderful in summer. The bathroom is large, and there is enough shelf space for toiletries. The dining table is a great size, and there are plenty of chairs. The bedding is new and clean. The complex is very quiet and feels safe. The place is very basic, but the price is great for an expensive city like Dublin. The host sent us a great video of how to access the place, as it is in a rather large complex.
I know this is a new property, so perhaps the owner needs a bit more time to sufficiently equip and update it. While it is a very basic property, there are some issues which if fixed would make this a great place. Some of the fixes are just regular maintenance; others will require an investment. This is what we found to be most troubling/less desirous:
The living room couches are truly awful; especially the one with no legs. It is obviously old, and the cushions are completely cushion-less and saggy. I didn't want to sit on either of them.
The pads on the dining chairs are old, with broken ties, and stained. It would be better to just remove them.
There was food left in the fridge; milk and condiments. We had no idea how long any of it had been in there.
The twin bed mattresses are very uncomfortable; basically a one-piece box spring/mattress combo. The padding over the box springs is not enough, and when sat on, the entire mattress compresses.
There are two lights out in the bathroom, and the shower hose is missing about 6" of the silver coil which prevents kinking, which resulted in reduced water flow. The fan in the bathroom does not work, and there is no ventilation.
The blinds in the smaller bedroom are broken and can't be adjusted.
The laundry closet absolutely reeked of stale cigarette smoke.
The kitchen trash can lid is broken and the foot pedal doesn't work to open the lid.
There is black mold on the wooden window frames.
Some of these items are quick fixes; some will require more. I hope the host will take this criticism in the spirit in which it is given; I would like him to be successful. With a little attention to detail, this could be a winning property.
