I had an amazing stay. The accommodation was beautiful, spacious and had everything I needed. The location was excellent, making it very easy to explore Rome. The hosts were also incredibly kind, accommodating and helpful throughout my stay. I would highly recommend this place and would happily stay again.

Owner was super helpful with recommendations, location is excellent right near Campo Di Fiori with plenty of eating and sight seeing options just a walk away

Badkamerdeur loopt zwaar

The location relative to getting around was quite convenient - you can see the Camp de' Fiori from the alley way. However, is a bit of a dark alley and you may not feel comfortable returning by yourself in the evening. There is a really good sandwich shop right around the corner and it was nice to have a full kitchen. There is an elevator once you get to the building which was very helpful. There is only one window in the apartment but there is a lovely garden outside the window, but you cannot access it from the apartment.

Unfortunately, there were bad smells in the entry way as well as the apartment. The smell seemed to be coming from the sewer and possibly the shower which had mold in it. It was worse at different times of the day, it was quite bad and kept me awake at night. The noise was not from the streets, it was quiet in that respect but the air conditioner is right next to the bed and is quite loud, louder than ambient noise Also it wasn't a problem for us because we are on the shorter side, but the ceilings are quite low - someone of 5'9" height or above would be a little cramped in the kitchen, bath and bedroom areas. There was only one set of towels per person and no way to clean them, when I asked for more towels the host was not very cooperative but eventually brought them on our last day. The shower leaks quite badly onto the bathroom floor and we had to use towels to clean up the water so that is maybe why he finally agreed to bring them. Also, it was advertised that there was a washing machine and drying rack, which was the main reason I booked the apartment, but after I booked I learned from the host that these were not present in this unit, even though it was advertised as such. I was actually quite surprised because the reviews were great, it has the potential to be quite nice but not there yet. Lastly, if you are arriving by car or taxi, you cannot drive down the alley where the apartment is located. There is an alley near by but you have to walk a short distance with luggage. It was not a problem for us, but might be for some.
