Farissi's Zawya Surf House

The hostel has such a warm, homelike atmosphere. You immediately feel comfortable and welcome, almost as if you were at home. The owner puts a lot of effort and heart into making sure guests have a pleasant and enjoyable stay. He is a genuinely kind and good-hearted person. I had a really lovely time here. Highly recommended! ❤️

J’ai passé un excellent week-end à Farissi’s Zawya Surf House et l’expérience a dépassé mes attentes. L’endroit est magnifique, avec une décoration chaleureuse et une atmosphère paisible qui permet de se détendre complètement. La terrasse est très agréable et offre un cadre parfait pour profiter du calme et de la beauté des environs. Un grand merci à Mme Aya et M. Ahmed, qui ont été attentifs, disponibles et toujours souriants durant notre séjour. Je recommande vivement cet endroit à toutes les personnes qui souhaitent se détendre et profiter d’un cadre paisible. J’y reviendrai avec grand plaisir.

Don’t come here expecting luxury, come expecting something better, a place that actually feels alive. Art, plants, and little details everywhere, someone clearly put real love and passion into every corner. The terrace, the quiet, the whole vibe carries this calm that’s honestly hard to find anymore. Sunset going down, tea in hand, BBQ smoke in the air I genuinely didn’t want to leave. Ahmed is a GOOD, HONEST, DETERMINED man who built this with real heart, and you feel that the moment you meet him. At $15 a night, it was one of the most memorable stays I’ve had thanks Ahmed for creating something this special.

As mentioned, this for me was an experience, and I honestly can’t find one thing to complain over.

Palacial premise with lush green roof terrace. Giant bedrooms and comfortable beds. It has a personal style very Un-Temu. No rules, hippy vibes - guaranteed to meet good people , a real cleanse from the Western world, a nostalgic reminder of how things used to be. Bonus: free washing machine. electricity supply on the roof. It is always a magic and real experience walking your way into town, that if you blink for a second you may miss it.
