Charming Appartement in heart of Marais

The district is very beautiful and safe. A lot of cafes, bars, clubs and restaurant are located in surroundings. The apartment location is very good, metro station is right behind the building corner. 10 minutes down the street and you get to Notre Dame de Pari. 2 supermarkets are located near the apartment, a lot of Chinese shops are on the same street (if you are fan of it). Though the apartment was not fresh renovated (it has its charm), and it was pretty clean and comfortable. The bed located in the bedroom was comfortable, but the sofa-bed wasn't (its time to replace it or fix it). Not all pillows were comfortable for me, but its a matter of preference. The host was very attentive, kind and supportive. On our request, prior arrival he purchased 3 brand new fans, as apartment has no AC. It was very pleasant to find a lot of complementary coffee capsules in the kitchenette. With one request, after several hours brand new iron was delivered as well. The host replies to my messages was very fast.

Couple annoying thing forth to mention FYI - the noise generated by early morning deliveries for shops downstairs . Though worth to mention that I was there in summer and the windows were open, plus it can be heard only from the room with sofa-bed. Another thing I didn't like is the smell of Chinese food coming from downstairs. Being honest and pragmatic, none of the above mentioned issues are under host`s control or he can do something with it.

Komfort und Sauberkeit ok.

Extrem viel Lärm die ganze Nacht vom Gebäude gegenüber, das einen großen Generator oder eine große Klimaanlage betrieben hat.

Easy access and a very central location. Most of the main Paris attractions were within walking distance, and the apartment was also very close to a metro station. The apartment had the charm of a classic old Paris building, which we liked, and it was nicely furnished. We stayed there for 2 nights with 4 girlfriends, and overall it worked well for our stay.

One downside was the noise early on Saturday morning. There were Asian shops below the apartment, and it seemed they were receiving deliveries, which was quite loud. This was especially noticeable for the people sleeping in the living room on the sofa, since the sound insulation was not very good. The wooden floors were also quite creaky when walking.

De locatie is ok

Het is erg verouderd allemaal. We hadden voor 3 geboekt maar moesten zelf zoeken naar het bed. Verder erg karig.
