Founded in the 16th century, the small village has magnificent, unique architecture and an authentic Mallorcan flavour that, fortunately, has not been compromised to this day in order to appeal to the tourist industry. On a walk through the village, the many old windmills, which are carefully maintained and cared for by the municipality, are particularly eye-catching. The baroque church on the village square is definitely worth a visit. Those who prefer the sea can drive around 11.2 km to the sandy beach of Sa Marjal, which not only boasts waves and dunes, but also a good infrastructure including a beach bar and parasol hire.
