Apartamento com Vista do Mar no Vidigal

The view is amazing, and the apartment is clean, well-equipped, and very spacious for a one-bedroom apartment. The beach is just a few steps away, and the surrounding feels safe, even for a solo traveler. That said, I still followed the usual safety precautions and avoided walking around late at night. Overall, it was a great place to stay and waking up to such a lovely view every morning was a real highlight of the stay. There is a small market and a pharmacy nearby where you can pick up essentials such as water, snacks, and other necessities. Within a 30-minute walk or a 10-minute Uber ride, you can reach Leblon, where you’ll find a great selection of restaurants, cafés, and shops. It was easy to walk along the beach to Leblon during the day, and I simply took an Uber back to the apartment in the evening.

Andrea informed me in advance that Uber drivers do not usually go all the way to the building entrance, so you may need to walk about 50 meters from the drop-off point. However, it’s only a short walk from the nearby square, and the host can also arrange a trusted taxi or Uber driver who is willing to drive directly to the building. It wasn’t a problem at all, but it’s useful to be aware of this beforehand.
