The staff was friendly and caring, we have been picked up from the visitor's centre. It is not possible to reach without a car or some kind of transport, but the beautiful thing is that it's possible to really immerse oneself into camping in the desert. There are half day, full day and night tours available which are recommended because it is the only way to explore the desert as it's a protected area and you can't go by yourself. We purchased a half day and full day tour and it was quite affordable. We really had a great experience.

From the pictures on the ad I thought we booked a bubble tent, but that was 5 times higher than the price that we paid upon checking on arrival for an upgrade; however I'm happier with the traditional tent for a more authentic experience. Note that in the traditional tent there is no heating and it gets very cold in the night. Also please everyone take care of the protected area and don't leave rubbish around when you do tours. That includes locals who we have seen leaving rubbish around the desert.
