Caravan Hatta by Our Habitas

The resort itself is lovely, with beautiful surroundings and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. It’s a great place to unwind, and most of the staff were pleasant and helpful. The overall setting has plenty of potential to offer a wonderful experience.

Unfortunately, the service fell short of expectations, particularly at the resort’s only restaurant, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Throughout our two-night stay, we experienced consistently slow service at practically every meal, even for something as simple as a glass of water. While one evening was particularly busy, the delays occurred regardless of how busy the restaurant was. We also felt there was a lack of flexibility and willingness to go the extra mile, particularly when we called shortly before breakfast ended to request an order while on our way down and were simply told it wasn’t possible. Additionally, we enquired about booking an extra room for another guest, and although availability was confirmed, nobody followed up with the promised price. Individually, these may seem like small issues, but collectively they reflect a lack of attention to detail and consistency in service, which is disappointing for a resort of this standard.

This property is fantastic for its location, the staff and other amenities. It completely cuts you off from your normal routine of sad city life and connects you with nature.
