About this house rental
The reigning Wine Princess, Gina, and her family warmly welcome you to Wehlen on the Moselle. Here, you’ll enjoy a modern stay in an old winemaker’s house, built around 1900 and completely renovated in 2023. With its modern and cozy furnishings, it’s ideal for families with children—and dogs are welcome, too.
The house is centrally located yet in a very quiet part of Wehlen, a district of Bernkastel-Kues, making it an ideal starting point for hikes or bike rides along the Moselle, through the vineyards, or in the surrounding forests. The Hunsrück and the Eifel are also easily accessible from here. Furthermore, day trips by car or bus—for example, to Trier, Germany’s oldest city, or to nearby Luxembourg—are no problem at all.
But if you simply want to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet—perhaps with a good glass of wine—you’re welcome to do so on your own terrace or at one of the wineries.
The town of Bernkastel-Kues entices visitors with many culinary and cultural delights and attractions. In the summer, two outdoor swimming pools invite you to swim, splash around, and sunbathe (Bernkastel-Kues and Kröv). Both are easily accessible by bike or bus. Once you’re there, you’ll be happy to receive many more suggestions for day trips (e.g., animal and climbing parks, movie theaters, bike/e-bike rentals, and much more).

Spread over 3 floors, you’ll find:
- a fully equipped kitchen (oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, drip coffee maker, etc.)
- a bathroom with a shower and bathtub
- 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with a bunk bed for up to 3 people)
- a large living room with a sofa bed and a magnificent view over the vineyards, including the world-famous Wehlener Sonnenuhr vineyard
- Additional travel crib available

On-site fees: Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Check-out is available between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Please contact us in advance to arrange this if necessary. Keys will be handed over in person on-site or via a key box. You will receive the code for the key box well in advance of your arrival. Pets are allowed for a fee of €5 per pet per night, with a maximum of 2 pets. The visitor’s tax of €1.70 per person per night will be charged separately on-site. Additional fees: The town of Bernkastel-Kues charges a guest fee. You will receive the corresponding guest card from your host.
