Gazda foarte amabila. Ne-a asteptat desi am ajuns foarte tarziu, dupa miezul noptii. Ne-a pus la dispozitie tot ce am avut nevoie. Camera spatioasa, echipata cu tot ce este necesar pentru o sedere confortabila. In apropiere sunt magazine si restaurante. Cu siguranta vom reveni.

Abbiamo soggiornato una notte in questo appartamento prima della nostra camminata sul Monte Olimpo. Appartamento rinnovato, pulito e abbastanza ampio. La proprietaria, che gestisce anche il negozio sottostante, è stata molto gentile e ci ha spiegato tutto. C'era tutto il necessario. Appena sotto il residence ci sono diverse taverne dove si può mangiare una cosa veloce. Nel complesso ci tornerei. Rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimo.

C'è voluta un pò di iniziativa per localizzare la proprietaria/gestrice al nostro arrivo. Ci ha aiutato la proprietaria della taverna accanto che l'ha chiamata al telefono. Il paesino in sè non ha particolare attrattive se non appunto la posizione strategica per visitare il monte Olimpo. I gestori dei ristoranti locali sono molto insistenti nell'invitarti nel loro locale, siamo stati praticamente "costretti" a sederci a cenare in uno di questi (del resto era la signora che ci aveva aiutato....). E' andata bene così, ma esperienza e "vibe" locali un pò curiosi. Questo non toglie niente al residence.

Location is good.

The room and facilities were quite outdated, and the hotel’s way of operating also felt old-fashioned. The elderly lady who welcomed us was very kind and friendly, but she did not speak any English. After hiking on Mount Olympus all day in the summer heat, we arrived at around 10:30 p.m. exhausted and simply wanted to check in quickly, take a shower, and rest before continuing our journey the next day. However, the check-in process took more than an hour because every sentence had to be translated through Google Translate. The hotel also accepted cash only, even though Booking.com clearly stated that card payment was available. We agreed to pay in cash but asked for a receipt, which seemed to create even more difficulty. We were told that no guest had ever requested one before, but receiving a receipt after payment should be a basic and normal procedure. The lady was genuinely kind, but the check-in process was far too slow and inefficient, especially for tired travellers arriving late at night.
