About this apartment rental
Stay overnight in a historic wine cellar in Germany’s oldest wine-growing village. Immerse yourself in the history of this winemaker’s house, built in the late 1890s. The newly built apartment offers its guests and all wine enthusiasts the opportunity to enjoy the old spirit of traditional winemaking on the Moselle in a special way.
The former vaulted wine cellar is equipped with underfloor heating, dimmable lights, and an 85-inch smart TV with a soundbar. It’s very cozy.
Do you enjoy hiking? Wonderful. Just 50 meters from the accommodation, you can set off on the first hiking trails through the vineyards.
In the evening, you can then make yourself comfortable in front of one of the Smart TVs, with free Prime Video, YouTube Premium, and a small home theater system.
The approximately 160 cm wide sleeper sofa with a mattress is really very comfortable and can easily be used for longer stays.
You’re also welcome to bring your pet. A flat cleaning fee of 40 euros per stay and per pet will be charged for this. Please let me know in advance if you plan to bring a pet. Thank you very much
The washer and dryer are located next door and are available at any time.
There is a barbecue area right outside the door, which you and the guests staying in the apartment above can use.
From the apartment, hiking enthusiasts can head straight into the vineyards. Other beautiful hiking trails are within easy reach in the surrounding area. Numerous activities, such as boat tours, excursions to picturesque towns like Bernkastel-Kues or Trier, bike tours, museums, and amusement and wildlife parks, are just a few minutes’ drive away. I’d be happy to organize wine testings for you at a neighboring winery, which is within walking distance.
I’d be happy to organize a wine testing for you at my trusted winemaker’s. Enjoy wines made from their own grapes, including a traditional “Fesperplatte” snack, and gain insights into viticulture. The winery, with its cozy wine bar, is just a 6–7-minute walk away. Just let me know.
