About this house rental
At six thirty most evenings, the mass of mountains known as “Dolomiti Lucane” or Basilicata’s version of the Dolomites, turn from blue to pink. It’s a spectacular sight and clients can have grandstand views of this phenomenon from the lovely spacious terras at Villa dei Ricordi. Located high at 860 metres above the sea level, this villa originated from a 12 th century Benedectine monastery, and is a have of peace at altitude. Surrounded by gently sloping fields and ringed by mountains, in a word, it is seclusion. Completely refurbished from top to bottom, it features vaulted ceilings and stone cornices.
Outside a wonderful garden with several plants and flowers a 14 X 6 pool with sliding cover and a terraced patio for “dining al fresco” during the summer. The owners are worth a mention too, because we could not have hoped to come across more friendly, hospitable and informative people.
This property is ideal for two or three families and group of friends who want to enjoy each other’s company in perfect privacy On request is possible to have the following experiences: chef and pizza maker at home, cooking class, breakfast and baby sitter Swimming pool is open from the 15 of May till the 15 of October. Extra costs are payable at location: Refundable damage deposit 500,00 euro. final cleaning 500,00 euro – pets 50,00 euro each one.
