The location was in a quiet new neighbourhood, which is still being developed. The room was private, with its own private bathroom. Plenty of room for luggage and clothing in the spare room/wardrobe. Close enough to the supermarket Taupo South. This is still a developing venue.

Upgrade the bed and put in a position where it doesn't feel like it is sloping downhill. I'm not a fan of microfibre sheets which are static - consider cotton/linen sheets. Put a small table underneath the small fridge to lift it off the floor. Keep notice of the bathroom (no place for the toilet paper - a missing piece off the holder). Have a small table in the room and a chair. Fortunate the weather was cool, otherwise if it was hot there wasn't an aircon in the room. The entrance way to get to the back room where we were placed has thick new grass with regular watering - so we had to always walk on wet grass with no specific pathway to get to the venue. This may change once the grass is established. Hope this helps.

The property is new, clean and looks very tidy. Close to supermarket, close drive or cycle to central Taupo

The bed is dreadful. It is so soft it has no form & I could hardly walk the next day due to back pain. The lockbox needs to be replaced with one where you can see the numbers and they don't have to be lined up perfectly, took ages to open in the dark. It also needs to be moved so you don't need to stand in the garden to use it. Could be more generous with crockery, and tea/coffee supplies.
