    Had a great stay at Central Inn Taupo! The location is close to town, and being pet friendly made our group trip so much easier while travelling with our dogs. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation close to town while travelling with pets. Would happily stay again!

    Clean and tidy room, and in the quiet part of the town. Loved that there's Netflix 🙂 Wish there were two sinks though, one for the kitchen and one for the bathroom, but looks like there's not enough space. Overall we had a comfortable stay.

    To be Fair, the usual cleaner returned to work the day we departed. So maybe the cockroaches and empty toilet roll holder were aberrations. The compact rooms are in a separate building down the back of the lot, past the house on the street with many Private Residence signs. No-one on site, just a lock-box. Good hot shower and good beds. 15 minute walk into CBD, or go out of your way and walk along the lakeside to town for an extra 10 minutes. Central? Depends on your transport.
