Avoncliffe

This house was much better than anticipated, or as shown in the pictures. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the accommodation and also very satisfied by the cleanliness, the facilities provided and the great location. There was an easy walk into town and the bus service, from the top of the road, was very useful for trips to the local villages. The bed was comfortable and, overall, it was a very relaxing place to stay. Pricewise, it was very competitive and cheaper than many alternatives.

As a heads-up, the shower didn't drain too well so that will need looking at. Also, on booking.com, the address of the property is given as number 3, which is across the street. The owner of that property had no idea about Avoncliff so a very confusing conversation took place.

Ideal for what we needed. House was clean and well equipped with everything you'd need. Beds were comfortable and the views out of the windows were lovely. Ideal location for exploring the East Neuk of Fife. Gardens and surrounds were well kept also and free on street parking available. Instructions for check in and check out were clear and concise. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Not much that we didn't like! Only thing that we could have asked for would be the option to pay an additional fee to bring a pet along. The gardens were large and the beach so close by that it would have been nice to bring a four legged friend along!
