Crail Residence

Excellent location in the village close to cafes, shops, bars and restaurants. We were in the village to attend a wedding and the accommodation was close to the venue

The shower was poor. The pillows were truly awful. There were no instructions for recycling so everything went in landfill waste. There was limited space to hang clothes. Given the accommodation promotes being close to wedding venue the only hooks to hang full length clothes is in a cupboard also housing outdoor furniture.

Very comfortable apartment, well maintained and in a good location with pubs and shops nearby. We stayed here in Crail as we walked the Fife Coastal Path and Crail was picturesque - all in all a pleasant stopover.

Finding the apartment was a but tricky, due to the warren like streets but we managed it. All else was great.

Check-In lief unkompliziert und die Unterkunft war größtenteils sauber. Der Ort ist auch sehr schön.

Es gab einige Fragezeichen: das Schlafsofa war nicht gemacht bei unserer Ankunft obwohl dies vorher noch kommuniziert wurde, dass wir dieses benötigen da wir als Familie unterwegs waren. Also mussten wir Bettwäsche, Kissen etc. selber zusammensuchen (keine Ahnung ob die Wäsche gewaschen war…). Des weiteren gab es einen Stromzähler der angab wieviel Strombudget man schon verbraucht hatte (was wohl passiert wenn man das „Budget“ überschreitet…? vllt geht dann das Licht aus?) Schlafen im Wohnzimmer auf dem Schlafsofa ist eigentlich nicht möglich: durch eine fehlende Fensterisolation schläft man quasi auf der Straße (lärmtechnisch betrachtet), da helfen auch keine Ohrstöpsel. Durch die Straßenlaterne direkt vor dem Fenster ist es auch schön hell. Und auch die Duschvorrichtung ist gewöhnungsbedürftig - hat zwar funktioniert aber bei so einem kleinen Bad mit schlechter Belüftung (man kann sich denken was das bedeutet) nur eine Unannehmlichkeit mehr. Wenn man mehr als eine Übernachtung hier plant und nur zu Zweit unterwegs ist kann es funktionieren. Ich würde hier nicht mehr buchen.
