I booked assuming it was a regular B&B, but found that there was no breakfast, rather breakfast was self service. Had I realised, I would have come better prepared. The driveway is hair raising - which is common in Ballito. A fellow guest reversed the car into a less taxing position. There was no hot water when I got up on the second day. It was a technical issue, which was restored later. Then there was a dreadful storm on the second evening. The staff do not control nature. They are gems, friendly, helpful, considerate and professional. I was very impressed.
I did not answer the bonus question, but I think the price was more or less in line with SA guesthouses, bearing in mind the location.
