Riverside Holiday Park

A lovely lodge next to the river Arun. Well laid out and a fully equipped kitchen area for cooking, but 1 min walk away is the Riverside tea room where you can get breakfast, lunch or just coffee and delicious cakes. All the staff are extremely friendly. It can get very busy so it is advisable to book a table. There is plenty of walks around on the Southdowns way. You can also hire a bike or boat from Riverside. The area is very secure with electric gates. Amberly station is a two minute walk and also Amberly Museum, which is worth visiting.

You are near the railway but the trains do tend to stop after 23.00 and start again at about 5 am. If you are bringing your dog make sure the are treated with a good tick prevention as there are lots about even up the track behind the lodges. Also in bright sunshine the outside balcony floor gets extremely hot for both humans and pooches.

Location was perfect, a few minutes walk from the railway station making a perfect break without the car.
