Green Aqua Apartment & Hotel

Room was clean and nice and modern. Nice vibe with LED’s and Tv etc. Honestly rooms are really nice. I like the lady in charge, she’s friendly and reasonable.

The foyer and ground floor (common areas) need to be finished to look more professional. It’s a really nice building but the check in counter is just a desk and the walls need cleaning. I’m sure it’s just cause it’s new and they are still finishing but it needs a much more professional reception with staff there more.

The location was good but the condition of the roads around the area weren't that great to walk freely on, not the hotels fault. The bed was comfortable and the bed linen & towels were very fresh and in good condition. Room had a Smart TV, so we could watch YouTube on a rainy day, also WIFI worked well. Very quiet area for sleeping. Many restaurants within a short walk. Family owned apartments, they were very nice but there were quite a few people hanging around, was hard to work out who worked there, uniform or badges would be helpful. They happily obliged when I asked for 2 extra pillows and 2 drinking glasses, none in the room.

The Apartment block is only 3 months old, I would have thought 5 years old with all the marks on the walls etc. Didn't really look like the photos on booking.com with a corner chair and plants, they weren't in the room. I had planned to cook our own breakfast but the supplies in the kitchenette were minimal (see photos). Only one pot supplied and it was dirty, and the top plate not clean looking, not a full cutlery set, kitchen felt unclean, hence I was not comfortable cooking in it. They are not checking inside the draws after people leave, everything should be washed. Bathroom was small and a wet room, no shower curtain so the water sprayed around a bit, no-where to put your toiletries. The reception area was not professional at all, empty space with electrical cords coming up in the middle of the floor area and a couple of tables in the corner for reception. Having a better reception area makes tourists feel safe. It is run by a lovely family but hard to work out who works there, we had left a hotel in Hoi An where all the staff wore uniforms and were far more professional. I reported a huge puddle of water inside the lift and that it needed mopping up, some people had run through the reception area dripping wet from swimming in the pool. We went down the lift 1/2 hour later and the water was still there, this is a slipping hazard. The beach closest to the hotel was not to our liking, old grubby change rooms and toilets, we didn't end up staying in Da Nang for one week as planned, after 2 days we returned to An Bang Beach Hoi An again. There is no daily bed making, we have paid less money and received this service. Handy to have a washing machine on the balcony, but filthy on the floor around it, cleaning standard is not up to scratch. This hotel could be a lot better if they just focused more on the property cleanliest and improvements.
