DiStay Beachfront Villa - Free Airport Pickup

The villa itself fulfilled our expectations in 100%. We spent 4 days there and it was really lovely stay. Our villa no. 350 is located 200 meters from the see but the surrounding is magnificent. The staff was extremely helpful.

The villa need proper handymen because some of the items as bed lamps needs to be fixed.

We had a great stay overall. The property was very nice, very clean and the beds very comfortable. Daily maid service was quick and efficient. It was a nice bonus that they provided drinking water for guests. The manager was quick to comunicate with us during our stay in a nice and professional matter (via whatsapp)

The only minor drawback was the lack of pool towels, we had to use our indoor bath towels outdoors. A few dedicated pool towels would be a fantastic addition.

The host was proactive and responded quickly to all our questions. The room rate was very good value for money

Cleanliness: The floors were dusty throughout the villa, bedrooms included, and it wasn't clear whether floors are mopped during daily housekeeping. There were thick clumps of dust under the beds. The gap is wide enough for a mop, yet it clearly hadn't been cleaned; we ended up wiping it by hand with a bath mat ourselves. There was also noticeable mould on the walls, especially in the bedrooms. Facilities: The villa feels run-down overall. The bedroom air conditioners couldn't keep the rooms cool at midday and were very noisy. Water pressure was weak on the upper floors; only the ground floor was fine. The pool didn't seem to be cleaned regularly, and there was a slimy film on the pool walls.

The villa has 5 bedrooms (although one is a basement room with tiny windows). All but the basement room have their own bathrooms, so that is nice. Shuttle service to the street is nice. Laundry facilities is nice. Pool is nice.

They give you towels in the bedrooms, but you need to ask for more for the pool and no hand towel was provided in the powder room until we asked. No salt or pepper. The kettle was broken and burning hot, but they replaced it with a new one when we asked. There were plumbing issues in one of the showers (it was completely backed up). They eventually got it fixed. Even though it's a 5 bedroom with king beds in all rooms, so enough sleeping space for 10 people, there are only 6 dining table chairs, so you can't all eat around the table. We also had problems with the front door alarm going off every hour (at night) for no reason. Turns out the battery needed to be changed. Host was responsive to all issues, but for premium price, issues should not have happened.
