Qasr Tabet

I wanted to book a little getaway for my grandmother and aunt somewhere relatively close to Beirut, with greenery, beautiful views, and cooler weather. Deir El Qamar was an easy choice, as it is one of the most beautiful places in Lebanon and holds lovely memories for me. I chose Qasr Tabet because it looked exactly like what I had in mind. Before their stay, I contacted the guesthouse about accessibility, as my grandmother has difficulty with stairs and needed a wheelchair. The employee was incredibly kind and arranged a suite for them on the lower floor, at no extra cost, to make her stay as comfortable as possible. They had a wonderful two nights! They loved the cool weather, peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and delicious breakfast. Most importantly, they felt genuinely welcomed and cared for — almost as if they were staying among family. A very special thank you to Mohamad Shokor for his kindness, attention, and wonderful hospitality. I wanted them to have a relaxing little escape and a change of scenery, and Qasr Tabet gave them exactly that.
