Spacious 2 Bed Apartment in Arno's Vale, Bristol

Keys are left at a store on the approach road. There was a little bit of confusion whether our keys were there or not, but they were found in short time. Eli was reachable, and very responsive for all issues. This was wonderful. The apartment was very spacious, clean and well maintained. Sheets were clean, and towels adequate in number and fresh. Balcony is a lovely bonus. The mixed use community is convenient, and other shopping is also quite nearby & walkable.

The parking area fob is to be left in the apartment at the time of check-out. It is not convenient since you have to use it to get out of basement parking, then leave the car outside, and take the fob back up to the apartment. It would be better if the fob were with the apartment keys. Also a map of Paintworks identifying both the apartment location, and parking spot is necessary. The basement especially does not have the numbered spots in any particular order, so you have to search to find the spot. Within the apartment, a few supplies were available - coffee, tea, salt, oil, washing machine pods. But all of these were very low in quantity. It would be more cheerful if they are topped off. Dishwasher pods were missing, as were scrubbers; and the dishcloth was smelly. But these were supplemented after I reported them to Eli. One of the mattresses has poky springs. This needs replacement. Window curtains could also do with some repair work.

Having a whole property with the amenities. Good location.

The bedroom next to the bathroom did not have a good mattress. Really could do with a new one or a topper. Settee in lounge not comfortable to relax on. No information as to which parking space corresponded to the flat. Eventually contacted the host and had a prompt response.

Lovely location, near some beautiful sites (the cemetery is a lovely walk), paintworks itself has some lovely views and houses and greenery, plenty of shops too. Quite close to city centre via a short drive, the living room is a lovely lounge area with lots of natural sunlight, caught a wonderful sunset!

We had to purchase toilet roll, but it was only a very short journey, did not take long

- Apartment was aesthetically pleasing. - Had the facilities that we needed. - Comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children. - Not too far a drive from the city center. - Balcony - Apartment was spacious - Host responded promptly with any issues

- Issue with the towels, that was resolved the next day - No toilet roll - Clealnliness of kitchen towels and dish sponge - Remnants from other people were in the apartment, making it feel not clean (e.g. bath scrubbers, boxes, mail) - Unclear directions/instructions for finding the specific apartment, garbage and parking bay - Beds were not that comortable - Blinds in the kitchen fell when we tried to close them.
