Noah Gate Hotel & Suites

This hotel is perfectly located for transfer guests. It is not in a pretty location nor are there close by services, but it is convenient to the bus route and it is very close to the airport. So coming and going to the airport is easy. I recommend that you bring food with you or already eat downtown/or airport prior to staying. The best thing about the hotel is the fabulous staff. They are gracious and make everything so easy when staying there. The rooms are well outfitted and clean. They are not big, but offered everything the 2 of us needed for a comfortable stay. We had a 6am flight out and the staff effortlessly arranged a cab to pick us up at 3:45am.

The hallways are quite noisy. Guests coming and going should be reminded to be quiet in the halls. There was a family spending time in the courtyard outside our window. They were up until 12am and the noise was fairly loud. Luckily, the hotel does provide earplugs.

Accueil facile (h24, sonnette porte entrée) et personnel agréable. Grande chambre neuve, litterie confortable, salle de bain propre avec tout le nécessaire (la porte qui cogne dans le lavabo est un détail, mais dommage). Bouteille d'eau au frigo + de quoi grignotter (café/thé/croissant/biscottes) Emplacement correct (20' à pieds de l'aéroport et 20' à pieds du quartier Vicaría pour manger le soir).

2 coupures de courant pendant la soirée (vite réglé par le personnel).

Much as one would expect an airport hotel to be, but I'd rate this as slightly above that. The rooms were clean and tidy with a mini-fridge, tv and space to store luggage. Additional roof-top terrace with a good view.

There is no way my room and the two either side could be even remotely considered as soundproofed. I booked this because I NEEDED a good sleep. Rooms advertised as soundproofed. Categorically aren't, and if they are, they're not done very well - I could hear skin contact of people bonking next door.... and even on the otherside with a bathroom between, could hear conversation through 2 walls. Doors and frames to hallway are also in no way soundproofed and arguably more transmissive than a standard firedoor. Nuts.
