Onrus Sunshine Beach Days

We wanted a relaxing beach town get-away and that’s exactly what we got. The property itself feels like a serene modern haven. Beautifully done with a calming color palette. Everything was pretty darn great. From hot tub to kitchen, it was all neat, easily accessible and felt so welcoming. And because they’re pet friendly it was so lovely seeing our little guy so happy. The town is lovely and quaint with lots to do do. The local shops are absolutely a must with almost hidden treasures sprinkled throughout, so happy hunting! Recommendations would be Brood and Milk on the beach. They were both quite lovely experiences. If you drive into Hermanus they have an array of places as well. I highly recommend Theo’s Taverna for some of the best Greek food you’ll have. Recommend going early evening or early afternoon. All in all would absolutely do this again. Much needed relaxation.

It’s a preference thing, but I would have loved a different mattress. It has quite soft springs and I had nearly fallen off the edge of the bed when sitting down once or twice hahaha. And there was little to be desired with the pillows as well, being quite firm. Perhaps bring your own pillows if you have a sore neck or would prefer something on the softer side.
