Basic but did what was needed. Everyone friendly

It was very basic but did what was needed and bed was comfortable, only thing I’d suggest is locks on the inside of the bedroom doors

Excellent value for money, good location, clean comfortable bed, quiet residential street. Easy access via key box, good communication from host. Well equipped clean kitchen.

The listing says towels are included but there was no bath towel, bring your own!

House was clean, and people were friendly

Small confusion checking in but that was my own issue not knowing what the key box looks like

We decided to travel to Newcastle to relive our long past university days and the budget room didn’t disappoint. Like our student housing this property has several other people living there, helping to recreate the experience with classics like the several packets of decomposing Tesco’s finest chicken thighs hiding in the fridge. The bathroom has a sign reminding you not to urinate on the toilet seat, which makes sense as it is easy to forget. The sink leaked heavily and the shower knobs weren’t properly attached. Not to mention the bath being filled with hairs and bum fluff typical of a shared student house. We had to enter the room via a ladder but that’s ok because we like climbing. As promised the bedroom had no windows but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. There was no way to lock the bedroom door but luckily our things remained untouched. Thankfully due to Newcastle’s excellent pub selection we spent a minimal amount of time in this accommodation. All in all it thoroughly recreated our student experience but would not recommend to the faint hearted.
