About this apartment rental
Enjoy a bright, stylish and central accommodation in the heart of the city (with balcony), located on the 3rd floor of a small building with 4 floors and 12 apartments. Quiet residence, with a magnificent view of the bay of Morville, and 2 minutes walk from Rue Colbert & 15 minutes by taxi from the Airport.
Close to all amenities: 3 banks, 1 supermarket, various shops & a dozen hotels & restaurants less than 10 minutes away.

If you like kite surfing, you can contact Jerome, Kite Alizé, a French man living in Diego, very nice.
The trip to the emerald sea is a must-do, it is a remarkable site and well suited for diving.
The visit of the 3 bays is a typical outing generally to be done by quad, it is best (or with a 4x4). Other excursions are possible to do, quad tour operators will certainly suggest other places to see if you have time.
The "Montagne des Français" is a rocky massif with panoramas around the bay
The red Tsingy of Irodo, it is also a site to see, not far from Diego, renting a car would be best.
There are also 2 National Parks in the area:
1) Amber Mountain National Park
Located about 40 km south of Diego-Suarez / Antsiranana (reachable in ≈ 45 min drive); it is one of the closest parks to the city.
Tropical rainforest on a volcanic massif, with waterfalls, crater lakes, rich biodiversity (birds, lemurs, reptiles). Very accessible for day trips or guided hikes.
2) Ankarana National Park/Special Reserve
Karst Protected Area located southwest of Antsiranana, famous for its tsingy, caves, underground rivers and endemic fauna.
You can also visit the "Tropical Garden", in town, for a short walk of an hour or two.
